'Mango Stain' meet
Dubai: ‘Mango Stain’ - a small association of people, who love art and culture, conducted a meeting on June 2, 2009, in memory of Vaikom Mohammed Bhasheer, Kamala Suraiya, Lohithadas, Shobana Parameswaran Nair and Michael Jackson who passed away recently. It was also an occasion to bid farewell to Mr. M. C. A. Nazar (Gulf Madhyamam) who is leaving Dubai to join Madhyamam, New Delhi, India.
The meeting was conducted by Mr. Ramachandran, Chairman of the ATLAS Group, in memory of these talents who left a mark in history with great contribution to their chosen fields.
Mr. Ramachandran said that Lohithadas had great will power and ability to solve issues. He expressed his happiness in being part of four of Lohitahdas’ movies. He also said that these types of meetings paved way for discussion and dialogues about art and culture and it gave him immense happiness.
Indian media forum president Mr.Vivekanandan, Joy Mathew (Amrita TV), E. M. Ashraf (Kairali TV), Sateesh(Asianet), Vinod John(Malayala Manorama), M. C. A. Nazar (Gulf Madhyamam) and Jaleel Pattambi (Middle East Chandrika) also participated. Dr. Manju Ramachandran proposed the vote of thanks.
